The neighborhood
Right in the middle of the “living” heart of Verona, a city of art UNESCO heritage! Verona is a city of many layers, where ancient Romans, medieval nobles, Venetian signori, Napoleon, and Austrian Hapsburgs, have woven a rich tapestry of art, architecture, and history throughout its urban fabric. The city’s great appeal lies in the fact that, from its historic center to the banks of the Adige River, it is both a bustling, modern northern Italian city and a living testament to Verona’s glorious past. Verona is also the city of love. The legend of Romeo and Juliet is a dream, just as love itself is a dream. Verona lives inside a delightful dream which floats delicately through the ancient squares and the shady lanes and courtyards.
The building is otherwise available only 800 meters away (Piazza Isolo www.sabait.it/it/parcheggi/verona/verona-isolo). Maximum daily fare is 15 € / day. Bike sharing & others…. If you like cycling and you want to reach the farthest places rapidly (e.g. the Church of San Zeno), you can take advantage of the recently available city bike-sharing service. www.bikeverona.it. And if you’re looking for unusual ways to enjoy the city, here are some tips: - experience a romantic horse-drawn carriage tour around the city - “riding the river waters” in a rubber dinghy for a different perspective on Verona - Verona In Tandem: discover the city riding a tandem bicycle
